1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SL for sale in Bellevue, Washington

This 280SL is a very likable example that emerged in 2007 after a decade-plus period in storage. Every effort was made and no expense spared to bring it back to road-ready condition, with the issues you might expect after sitting for a long time addressed by the authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer in Seattle. The fuel tank was removed and the inside thoroughly cleaned, the Air conditioning system was serviced, the fuel injection was serviced and the injectors replaced along with a new distributor, spark plugs, etc., the steering box was rebuilt, and even the transmission was rebuilt. The car was resprayed somewhere along the line before it went into storage and the wood has been replaced as well as the headliner on the otherwise totally original hardtop. The rest of the interior has aged very gracefully and shows extremely well. Included with purchase are the original owner handbooks, the receipts for the work performed in 2007 and for other maintenance, and an inspection from the Park Place Service Center.
