This 1968 Chevrolet Caprice Coupe is a real American Classic. Original and unmolested, the Blue Metallic exterior and Blue cloth interior are in outstanding condition. This fine example has a 396ci V8 Engine backed by an Automatic Transmission. Odometer shows 20,150 miles (believed original). Real Wood-Tone Trim. 15 Sport Style Wheels with Polished Beauty Rings and New BF Goodrich Redstripe Tires. This Caprice holds such luxuries as courtesy and ashtray lights, an electric clock, and a front center armrest -- plus fancier seats and door panels. Caprice carpeting even runs up the side of kick panels and door bottoms. This Caprice coupe, with all original sheet metal, chrome, stainless, and glass is in outstanding condition throughout. The exterior paint, chrome, and stainless are all in great shape! The interior is original, and looks near perfect with no rips, cracks or tears. It has a powerful 396 cubic inch V8 engine and runs and drives excellent.The 1968 Caprice received a minor facelift that included a new grille, and taillights set into the bumper. Caprice coupes now came standard with the new Astro Ventilation system, which included extra vents in the dash, and the removal of vent (wing) windows. Side marker lamps became standard on all U.S. cars in addition to the amber parking lights which were illuminated with the headlights. Inside, the instrument panel was revised with a return to the horizontal sweep speedometer and a revised three-spoke steering wheel.Original cars like this don't come around often, so don't let this one pass you by.
